Job Title: Account Manager Trainee

Compensation: Base Salary plus Incentives
Job Description:
This entry level position is accountable for identifying opportunities and helping qualifying sales leads. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Account Managers to develop sales strategies and achieve revenue targets throughout the Mid Atlantic region. This person will determine customer needs, create proposals and help promote all our products and services. This position, with mentoring and training will lead to advancement to Account Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Will work as a valued member of a team focusing on sales goals
- Assist in tracking & managing sales pipelines
- Identify and close opportunities and value added services sales
- Provide product pricing quotes to clients and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Contact clients for maintenance renewals.
Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- Effective professional verbal and writing skills.
- Information Technology/networking basics preferred
- Experience with email, Word and Excel a must
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of previous sales experience and/or marketing preferred
- Must be a quick learner and possess great people skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
